utah christmas.

Our visit to Utah to see the Munro kids was short, but sweet. It never seems to be long enough. The time sure flies between visits.

Madison has grown up so much since the summer. She is beautiful.

Matt wished he could have frozen this moment in time.

We were able to spend the day at Madison's rodeo. She was competing in the barrel races and did an amazing job. Maddi achieved her personal record time of 17.2! Check her out!

After the rodeo, we ate at our usual Utah favorite, Los Hermanos. We celebrated the two winter birthdays, Griffin and Caden. I wish I had a video of the servers scaring Griffin half to death as they started singing to them. MMMMMmm....fried ice cream.

Then (thanks to much prompting from Gavin) we headed over to Nickel City. Matt and I wanted to avoid video games this trip, as we did last time, but it turned out to be a lot of fun. The best part was giving each kid $5 in NICKELS that lasted them all night.

Craziness x 6.

We topped off our trip with attending church Sunday morning with the kids. Leaving is bittersweet and the drive back is always a bit melancholy, but we are grateful for the time spent together. If anyone can figure out a way to slow time down, let us know. :)
