nana.

One of the most special moments this Christmas Day was visiting my mom. She has been fighting to regain her health since the summer, and had a set back in early December. She is currently in a rehabilitation facility where she is being monitored and goes to physical therapy daily to improve her strength and stamina.

Matt, the boys, and I brought her some Christmas cheer. We brought a CD player, a CD with old traditional carols, presents, treats, and sparkling cider. What warmed her heart, and ours, the most was how the boys spent time with her. They talked with her, told her jokes, and showed her an
 enormous amount of love.

She called the next morning to say thank you and that it was one of the most
dear things anyone has ever done for her.

When really, we were the ones that were blessed.
Nana, we love you.
