So how in the world did we end up childless on Father's Day? Well, when you have a home with a kid count that can go from 0 to 6 in a snap, it happens. The Jurinek boys were on vacation in Chicago with their dad. The Munro kids were at Lake Powell on vacation with their mom and step dad. So...when life gives you lemons, head out to Laguna!
It was truly the getaway we needed after a few weeks of the crazies. The weather was perfect and the time away with just the two of us was incredible. We went into Newport for a day, hung out at the beach for a day, ate at great restaurants, and just enjoyed lounging without a schedule.
People ask us all the time if we're going to have a baby together. Our standard response is, "NO! We're SO OVER the baby thing!". But honestly, we catch ourselves talking about adding lucky number 7 sometimes. What would he/she look like? What would we name them? How fun it would be to have a little one around! Then, we find ourselves alone on the beach, reading instead of playing lifeguard...and we get over it really quick!
