the end of an era.

It's going to be two more years before these two will be going to school together again. (I LOVE the messy last-day-of-school hair)The boys are 14 1/2 months apart in age ( Yep, the "little one" is on the right). They are pretty much joined at the hip. They play together, have many of the same friends, go to and from their dad's house together, and have gone to school together most of their school careers. The school part of that equation ended yesterday when Jeb graduated from 5th grade. That means that they will be going to separate schools for the next two years.
Jeb will have middle school all to himself until Griffin gets there for 6th grade. By that time, Jeb will be an 8th grader and moving on to high school. Then, I will have a middle schooler and a high schooler and I don't want to think about that because that is just crazy.
For now I just want to enjoy the fact that both boys did very well in school this year. I am so proud of them both. Congratulations, Jeb and Griffin! Let the summer fun begin!
