summer wrap up.

Summer has officially ended and the boys have been in school for a week. It was such a very busy, wonderful end of summer, that I have neglected this blog for about a month!

Matt and I drove up to Utah at the end of July to pick up the Munro kids and take them back to Las Vegas for a week of visiting. We were sad that Madison wasn't able to come down. She had broken her leg on a trampoline the week before. Poor girl! However, we were fortunate enough to spend a wonderful day with Maddie at Color Me Mine- a pottery painting place. Such fun! It was great to sit and talk with her for hours. She has become such a sweet young woman, and has really grown up alot over the past few months. We went to lunch a Los Hermanos (of course!) and returned her back to her mom, got the boys, and headed to LV.

It was a great week of lots and lots of swimming, games, Nerf gun wars, and boy stuff. We packed as much as we could into their trip and made sure each boy had some special one on one time with their dad. Gavin, who was very homesick for his mom, was a trooper. He hung in there and ,whether he admits it or not, had some fun. Thank you, Gavin.

It was a great summer and we are off to a wonderful school year. I have to admit, that even though I adored this summer and we didn't get nearly enough of it, the structure and schedule of fall and back to school are very welcomed right now.
