holy legos, batman.
Jeb and Griffin are two happy boys tonight. Each year their school has a huge fundraiser called "A Night in Venice". The best part of the night is that each class puts together themed baskets to raffle off. Jeb and Griffin always have their eye on the Lego baskets that are so popular each year. In years past we flooded the raffle boxes with tickets, didn't win, and the guys were really disappointed.
So this year, it was going to be different. Each boy got only 5 tickets to put wherever he pleased, and that was it. When it was time to draw the winning tickets, the boys crowded around the stage and listened anxiously. Holy cow! I wish I had a picture of their faces when they drew Jeb's name for the Lego basket! They were BOTH thrilled.
We have to get to bed for an early baseball game tomorrow, but how can we with the entire bonus room flooded with Legos?! It's like Christmas!
Congratulations, Jeb and Griff. You have been very patient and understanding the past couple of years and you really deserve this. I am so happy for you.
