Theme Night!

Every Thursday evening, our family does what we call "Theme Night". We pick a time era or a country and prepare our dinner around that theme. We have done themes like the 50's, the 60's, Chinese, Mexican, and one Man vs. Food eating challenge. Matt never knows our theme and he gets excited to come home Thursday to see what night it is!
The boys love Thursday because of it and are always planning the next theme. They do a great job of helping in the kitchen, finding music, and even getting books at their school library to help us all learn about each theme.
Last night our theme was Italy and it was fun. Jeb and Griff got totally into it and asked to have mustaches painted on them. We called Jeb "Vincenzo" and Griff "Antonio". Matt broke out the bibs from Chef's for them to wear too.

Jeb educated us on Italy while we ate and included a lot of facts that I had no idea about!
Griff made sure we had "lotsa de peppa" on our food.

We enjoy this little family tradition so much. It makes each week special and gives us all something to look forward to as a family.
