Thankful

I am so thankful for so many things in my life. The last few weeks have been a time to reflect and be able to count my blessings.
I am so thankful for a husband who is my very best friend. He is someone that I can be real with, and never pretend that I am someone I'm not. I am grateful that he loves me unconditionally, supports me in all that I do, and reminds me how much he cares numerous times through out each day with both words and actions. I can be ridiculous with him, I can be candid with him, and I can be me. He always listens and always cares. I truly feel that he is my partner and it couldn't be better.
I am thankful for my two boys who are so obedient and so thoughtful. They know exactly when to give me a huge hug at the end of the day or ask if they can do anything for me, which is a rare trait in children. They are becoming wonderful young men and I am honored to be their mother.
I am thankful for my four step children and the acceptance and love that they show me. I am always happy to see them and hear what new and exciting things they have going on in their little lives. They have so much energy and love to share! It's been difficult to have them far away...especially for their dad, who has been stronger, kinder, and has handled the move with more dignity than most fathers if put in his situation. It is such a blessing when they are able to spend time with us and we cherish every second of it.
I am thankful for my job in an ever changing economic world. I am thankful for family and friends that care and their prayers on our behalf . I am most grateful for the Lord and the sweet, calm spirit that he sends to comfort through the difficult seasons.
I am a very blessed girl. ;)
